Happy Emancipation Day Jamaica!
Redemption Song Monument, by Laura Facey, located in Emancipation Park, Kingston Jamaica. Unveiled on July 2003, The naked Black Man and Black Woman, bronze sculpture stands 11 feet tall, gazing to the heavens. Is symbolic of their triumphant rise from the horrors of slavery.
